2017 retrospective

Retrospective 2017

2018 just starts and it’s time to pass good resolutions (play more sport, eat healthy…) but for me it’s also the moment to take stock of my year 2017. It’s was an amazing year full of beautiful meetings, new projects and of courses paintings!

1 new website

In 2017 I had decided to change my website to give it a new look. Thanks to my eldest daughter who is graphic designer, I have now a new graphical identity,  a website more fresh and socials network Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest.

And I continue to paint to propose you new paintings of Paris, flowers, sea.

22 new paintings

During 2017, I more focus on parisian theme.

A city really inspiring when you are an artist. Every best artists of XIX century had painting Paris: Caillebotte, Manet, van Gogh, Monet, Renoir… There are so many amazing things to see : parisian fountains, Montmartre, gardens and Eiffel tower of course!

3 exhibitions

When I paint, I try to show in my paintings my feelings about the theme. For exemple my painting “Retour à la pêche à la crevettes” shows a little peace of my holidays in Bretagne several years ago with my two daugthers. I’m always delighted to show my paintings to the public.

When I exhibite I invite people to discover my intimity. In 2017 I had the chance to propose three exhibitions : in Normandy, in the neighborhood of Paris near Versailles, and in Paris. And what is a pleasur to exhibit in beautiful places as the amazing ballroom of the french artist Jean-Léon Gérôme.

200 students

Since several years I give painting courses in the neighborhood of Paris with talentous students. And in 2017 I had decided to propose art class in my studio in Paris to people from all over the world.

Thanks to this classes I have met wonderful people. Families, children, travelers traveling with friends or alone, art lovers or beginners levels. It’s always a real pleasure for me to discover others habits and new stories.

Now 2017 is end, and I wish you a beautiful year of 2018, filled of love, chance and Art!
