My art classes give me the opportunity to meet wonderful people. Families, couples, travelers traveling with friends or alone, and they’re always curious to discover Paris differently. Coming from several countries all over the world : Japan, USA, New-Zeland… It’s always a real pleasure for me to talk with them. And to discover others habits and new stories from all around the world.
A few weeks ago, I was delighted to welcome in my studio a special student attending one of my painting class… April. She’s coming from the Niagara Region in Canada, but she has been living in Paris for several years now. With her beautiful bright smile and her sparkling eyes, she has told me (in a perfect french!) all about her life in Paris. A Paris, that she loves and knows very well!
She sure knows a lot about her city of adoption, even little secrets that Parisian themselves wouldn’t know about! And the pleasure she had discovering Paris differently, gave her the motivation to share it with other travelers or new comers in town.
That how she’s now offering several tours in Paris and its neighborhood to discover. For example a Paris around food (of course !), with a cooking lesson or with a visit of “Les Halles” district. You’ll get the opportunity to taste the finest French delicacies from vendors who have been feeding locals for generations. You will be able to choose a variety of meats, cheeses, breads in order to create your own “apéro” platter. If travelling with kids, special tour for them with the traditional Parisian puppet show, old-fashioned carousel, and a photo with a life-sized mammoth!
So if you have decided to visit Paris differently, don’t hesitate to ask April!
